PAINtalks 2019




The Quebec Network of Junior Pain Investigators (QNJPI) is proud to announce the PAINtalks 4thedition which will take place in Montreal (Amphithéâtre Gesù, 1200 rue de Bleury), during the evening of November 23th, 2019.

PAINtalks is an event that provides scientific content on advances on pain research. The presentations will be held in the early evening and will conclude with a casual cocktail.

We are also pleased to announce that the submission period for speakers will be from May 6thto June 7th2019 ! This is the perfect opportunity to spread your ideas and make yourself known within the Quebec Pain Research Network. Moreover, the QNJPI members selected as speakers will have the opportunity to participate to the PAINtalks contest for the best presentation. The winner will receive a prestigious award, announced soon!

** NEW ** A Canadian Pain Society (CPS) student member contest is being launched to select a Key Speaker for PAINtalks.

** NEW ** A North American Pain School (NAPS) participant contest is being launched to select a Key Speaker for PAINtalks. Submission period: June 17th to July 15th, 2019


All our presenters will benefit from individual training with Denis François Gravel, fromPRESENTabilité (, to ensure high quality presentations. An experienced coach, Denis François is also president and co-founder of TEDxQuébec.

In order to provide the information of the event to the public, all presentations will be filmed in high definition and be made available to Internet users via the QNJPI website, Youtube channel and Facebook page. The videos will be filmed and edited by Vimetri, a professional team that covers the TEDxQuébec event.
